On Friday, March 6, Izzy Kurka, a former standout at Medina High School, helped the Baldwin Wallace Yellow Jackets claim a 75-51 victory over the William Paterson Pioneers in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
Goldfarb Gymnasium was the site of the 5 p.m. matchup, marking the teams’ first tournament meeting.
The Baldwin Wallace Yellow Jackets are scheduled to compete again at Goldfarb Gymnasium on Saturday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m.
