The City of Wadsworth announced on March 10 that public mailboxes at City Hall have been moved because of a parking lot construction project beginning the same day. Residents are advised to check the attached map for the new locations of these mailboxes.
The relocation affects both the United States Postal Service (USPS) mailbox and the drop boxes for Wadsworth Utility and County Tax payments. The USPS mailbox, now designated as walk-up only, has been placed to the left of City Hall’s main entrance on Maple Street. For those who require a drive-up option, officials said that a drive-up USPS box remains available at the Post Office on South Lyman Street, which is one block away from City Hall.
The drop boxes for utility and county tax payments have also been moved. These red-marked boxes are now located at the east side entrance of the public parking lot. Residents are encouraged to look for red indicators on the provided map to find these payment drop-off points easily.
City officials thanked residents for their patience and cooperation during this period of improvement work at City Hall facilities.
The changes come as part of ongoing efforts to upgrade municipal infrastructure and ensure continued access to essential services while construction is underway.
