Former Brunswick High School standout Lea Holmes helped her current team, the Northwood Timberwolves, secure a 61-57 win over the Malone Pioneers on Friday, March 13, in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The matchup, held at GVSU Fieldhouse at 12 p.m., marked the Timberwolves’ first meeting with the Malone Pioneers in this tournament.
Northwood’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 14, at 5 p.m. at GVSU Fieldhouse Arena.
