On Tuesday, April 22, former Medina Highland High School standout Paige Berkmeyer’s current college team, the Illinois Fighting Illini, won 9-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the DePaul Blue Demons.
The game took place at Eichelberger Field. This was their first matchup against the Blue Demons this season.
The Fighting Illini’s next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 23 at 5 p.m. at Eichelberger Field against Northern Illinois Huskies.
