On Friday, Feb. 21, former Medina Highland High School standout Paige Berkmeyer’s current college team, the Illinois Fighting Illini, won 12-8 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Central Michigan Chippewas.

The game took place at Dail Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Chippewas this season.

The Fighting Illini’s next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 3:30 p.m. at Dail Softball Stadium against North Carolina State Wolfpack.
