Medina County recently issued the following announcement.
Do you know someone who acted selflessly or courageously in a time of great need? Perhaps your niece reported a weapon on her school bus, or your dog alerted you to your family’s home in flames, or your desk-mate performed CPR in the cafeteria.
The American Red Cross of Greater Akron and the Mahoning Valley is looking for your heroes! For almost 30 years, the Red Cross has been proud to honor local heroes who live or work in Summit, Portage, and Medina Counties. And we need your story.
Submit it today – the deadline is December 31 – at redcross.org/nohheroes. Nominees will be selected by a select panel of community representatives in January, and honored at the annual Acts of Courage event on March 3, 2022.
