City of Medina issued the following announcement on Jan. 21.
Medina resident Rick Grice retired at the end of 2021 after 52 years of service as a Medina Special Police Officer. He was honored by the Mayor and Police Department for his years of service. Grice also worked for the city for 32 years as an Assistant Building Inspector and the city's first fulltime Planning Director. For over 18 years, he has served on, and is currently the chairman of the City's Planning & Zoning Committee. We thank Rick for his service!
