City of Wadsworth recently issued the following announcement.
The Wadsworth Utility Assistance Program provides funding to offset amounts owed on delinquent Wadsworth utility accounts that meet certain eligibility requirements due to a Covid-19 related issue. Assistance is available for both residential and business customers, although business customers should be aware that any assistance they receive through this program is subject to the public disclosure and reporting provisions of the American Rescue Plan Act. Eligibility requirements:
1. You must be a current residential or business customer of the Wadsworth Utility Department.
2. Your most recent utility bill shows a past due balance.
3. The delinquency in your account is directly attributable to an event related to the COVID pandemic.
