Brunswick Ohio Police issued the following announcement on Mar 16.

Update- In an effort to eliminate confusion- under the comments section an individual posted that the vehicles were recovered. The (2) two stolen vehicles from the City of Brunswick were not recovered and remain entered as stolen. Please see below for further descriptions and information.

On March 15, 2022 at approximately 3:56 a.m. The Brunswick Division of Police responded to the area of the 2900 block of Elmer Drive for a report of suspicious persons attempting to enter vehicles. While officers were checking the area- Dispatch was informed of pursuits occurring in North Royalton and Broadview Heights with at least two vehicles taken from Brunswick locations. The operators of these vehicles were not apprehended and fled during the pursuit. The Division of Police contacted the vehicle owners and confirmed that the vehicles were stolen earlier in the overnight hours.

The two stolen vehicles are as follows:

Blue 2014 Nissan Pathfinder license plate GOQ 8105

Red 2015 Dodge Charger license plate AUDREYB

Additional vehicles were entered in the adjoining neighborhood and thefts from these vehicles are still being reported. If you have any home security camera systems please check for footage around 0300-0400 hrs for suspicious activity and please contact us.

As a reminder- lock your vehicle doors. Please ensure that key fobs are not left inside of vehicles. Do not leave items such as purses, wallets, firearms, laptops, prescription medications, or any other valuables inside an unsecured vehicle. Report any suspicious activity in your neighborhood to the Division of Police.
