Happy #ArborDay, Wadsworth!
This year we are celebrating not only the 150th anniversary of Arbor Day, but also Wadsworth's 40th year as a Tree City USA.
What is Tree City USA? It's a designation given by the Arbor Day Foundation to communities that have met certain requirements to be recognized as a safe and sustainable place for trees.
We're honored to be recognized as a Tree City USA for the 40th consecutive year, and we have our Parks Department, Shade Tree Commission as well as Parks Commission, Friends of Wadsworth Trails, and Bud’n Bloom Garden Club to thank for that, along with all of you who take such great pride in keeping Wadsworth beautiful. We look forward to many more years of partnership!
