Things you can do:
• Learn the signs of elder abuse and neglect.
• Reach out and prevent isolation.
• Reach out to congregation leaders to give a talk about elder abuse.
• Call or visit older loved ones regularly.
• Provide respite breaks for caregivers.
• Learn more about #AdultProtectiveServices
• Volunteer to be a friendly visitor.
• If you see something, say something. If you suspect that a vulnerable older adult may be a victim of abuse, neglect, or exploitation, do not hesitate to call the Adult Protective Services Hotline at 330-661-0800.
