A leading email and texting company with customers across the U.S. is building its business from Medina County.

Founded in Jan. 2021, Dyspatchit sells a proprietary software platform for sending email and text marketing and news messages. And the company says it has already grown to become one of the largest senders in the U.S., sending more than two billion messages last month.

“With the continued fragmentation and diversification of media viewing, reaching consumers via direct platforms like email and text are becoming increasingly important for both businesses and marketers,” said Claire Murphy-Cook, CEO of Dyspatchit. “But making sure your messages are impactful and get delivered takes expertise. That’s our key differentiator.”

Murphy-Cook, who founded the company after an 18 year career in advertising and marketing, says growing in Ohio is a priority for the company.

“We’ve found that technology talent today doesn’t want to live on the coasts,” she said. “We’re committed to building our business here, to making Medina a destination for software developers who don’t want to leave the Midwest. This is a company committed to Midwest values.”

Murphy-Cook graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio Texas with a degree in Communication and History.
