HAPPY DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP WEEK!
This week our K-8 students focused on safety and ways to be good digital citizens!
One important way to be a good digital citizen is to find BALANCE!
We discussed ways to have a balance in our lives with being on screen vs off-screen. After the discussion, the students could use scales and legos to weigh out these activities. This provided physical reference of how to balance these out or to learn what we miss out on if we don't balance screen time with other activities like being outdoors.
Students also used the balance beam and balance ball and were reminded to PAUSE and think if something they want to share online is a good idea! Thank you parents for your continued support at home! We are On The Move!
