This morning, Ohio State Auditor Keith Faber presented the Brunswick City School District with the "Auditor of State Award" for the Fiscal Year 2021 during a special Board of Education Meeting. As mentioned by Auditor Faber, this award is earned by less than 10% of publicly audited organizations.
Brunswick City School District has a proud tradition of fiscal responsibility, transparency, and strategic spending, earning this award in 2013, 2016, 2020, and, most recently, in 2021. Auditor Faber noted this “extraordinary” accomplishment gives BCSD the distinction of being “among the best of the best” and “cutting edge” among public entities.
