The Medina County Home participated in the 2022 Wadsworth Senior & Caregiver Expo at the Wadsworth Suprema Center on October 28th. Vendors and participants enjoyed the day more than ever as the expo has been on hiatus for the last two years due to COVID concerns.
It was expected that 400+ Seniors would be coming to the fair and gathering information from the vendors. There were 89 vendors.
The Medina County Home booth was visited by Medina County residents and had many complimentary things to say about the Home. Some of the common themes were “ I had a family member there many years ago and they were so well taken care of” or “I have toured the Home and it is beautiful” and even “ I came out there as a young girl when I was a girl scout.” The Home is very nostalgic to many.
Several seniors stopped by the booth for much needed information on affordable assisted living options and were pleased to find an option right in their backyard.
The Medina County Home is appreciative of the many folks that stopped by the booth and grateful for the community support. We look forward to seeing and meeting more seniors and their families next year.
