*** Working Dog Wednesdays ***
On Wednesday November 16, 2022 Officer Ceccacci #49 and K9 Koda attended Ms. Newlands AP Psychology Class at the Brunswick High School. Officer Ceccacci spoke regarding the training and condition of working K9’s, utilizing variable rewards, motivation, and the K9’s cognitive abilities. As an added bonus the students spent some time interacting with Koda, giving him some love.
The following week, when the boxes come out, the dogs will play. Scent Detection and Odor Recognition is the name of the game and Koda and Wiley are experts!! Officer Flagg and K9 Wiley working the boxes!
