Having a carbon monoxide “CO” alarm is important. Carbon monoxide "CO" is very dangerous. CO can't be seen and is a colorless, odorless gas.

It is very important to have an alarm on each floor of your home near sleeping areas. Placement of the alarm varies based upon manufacturer and model.  For example, some alarms are designed to be plugged into standard low-wall outlets.  Some can be mounted at eye level similar to a thermostat location. Some are combination units designed to be mounted on a ceiling or high on a wall.

If you suspect having CO in your home, get outside into fresh air immediately.
