Employee of the Month | City of Wadsworth
We are excited to announce the City has begun an employee of the month award to honor someone who demonstrates characteristics that exemplify the high standards expected of City employees. The March (and first) Employee of the Month is Bobby Devaney from our Water Treatment Plant.
Mr. Devaney has worked for the City over 33 years and is scheduled to retire this summer. He is a licensed Class 3 Ohio EPA Water Supply Operator and also certified in the wet chemical lab. His responsibilities include testing of water, checking wells, lab sampling, maintaining / cleaning tanks, and repairing equipment. Bobby routinely goes above and beyond to the best of his abilities to make sure the water produced by our plant is the highest quality for our residents and businesses. Bobby's advice for new employees is "It is always easier to do your best, without regrets". Thank you Bobby for your continued dedication to the City of Wadsworth resulting in this award.
