NWS Cleveland - Winter Weather Update
What to expect:
Snow arrives from west to east overnight tonight and persists into Friday or Friday night, depending on location
There will be a tight north-south gradient in snow accumulations as the rain/snow line shifts northward for a time on Friday
Snowfall rates up to 1" per hour are expected, especially in far-northeast OH and northwest PA
Given the relatively-high sun angle in early March, there is uncertainty regarding how easily snow will accumulate during the daylight hours of Friday, especially during the afternoon
What has changed:
The Winter Weather Advisory has been expanded to additional counties in northern OH and northwest PA
