State Rep. Sharon Ray | The Ohio House of Representatives
State Representative Sharon Ray (R-Wadsworth) has been recognized with the Honored Luminary award at the annual Infant Vitality Advocacy Day. The award was given in acknowledgment of her leadership and commitment to improving perinatal mental health.
The event is organized by the Infant Vitality Advocates group, which includes First Year Cleveland, Cradle Cincinnati, the Ohio Collaborative to Prevent Infant Mortality, and CelebrateOne.
“It was an honor to receive this award. Improving health outcomes for mothers and babies is good for all Ohioans,” said Rep. Ray.
Ray serves as a co-sponsor of House Concurrent Resolution 12, a measure that highlights the significance of prenatal mental health. The resolution is currently under review by the House Health Committee.
