On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Medina Highland High School standout Paige Berkmeyer’s current college team, the Illinois Fighting Illini, lost 4-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the North Carolina State Wolfpack.

The game took place at Dail Softball Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Wolfpack this season.

The Fighting Illini’s next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 2 p.m. at Eichelberger Field against Saint Louis Billikens.
