On Sunday, March 15, at 3 p.m., the Walsh Cavaliers, featuring former Medina High School player Brayden Smigel, defeated the Tiffin Dragons 13-7 in NCAA Division II baseball action.
Paradiso Athletic Fields hosted the matchup, which marked the fourth meeting between the teams this season. Earlier on Sunday, March 15, the Cavaliers fell 14-8 to the Dragons.
Smigel pitched one inning, giving up three earned runs with one walk and one strikeout.
Walsh is scheduled to face the Point Park Pioneers at Biery Stadium on Tuesday, March 17, at 3 p.m.
