SFS Group USA, Inc. - Division Automotive is seeking motivated team members for our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Medina, Ohio. Principal Duties
- Learn how to set up and operate highly specialized machining centers unique to the automotive industry.
- Operate and adjust complex, high-precision linear or vertical transfer machines
- Perform minor trouble shooting and adjustments to equipment
- Interpret machine prints and product dimension specifications for production
- Complete in-process quality checks using gauges, contour-graph and related quality equipment
- Accurately enter data into SAP
- Follow safe work practices and procedures
- Support a team to work towards the department and the Division's goals
- HS diploma or GED
- 3-6 months of experience in manufacturing environment
- Possess mechanical aptitude and ability to understand how machines work
- Experience with production machining in the automotive industry is highly desirable
- Basic math and reading skills, able to read and understand written work instructions
- Capable of learning how to use measurement tools such as micrometers, height gauges, comparator, Mahr & contour trace machines
- Must be able to effectively enter data into SAP & QSYS database
- Must be flexible to work overtime, including weekends when needed
- Ability to meet all post offer testing requirements including background check, drug screen the position's physical demand
