Applynow03

Brown County Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

Do you have a passion for a topic that you'd love to share with others?

We are opening up proposals for Summer Enrichment Opportunities

for weeks in June and July.

Examples of some enrichment opportunities are:

  • Cooking classes
  • Financial planning
  • Basic home repair
  • Art such as painting, drawing, photography, cell phone photography, etc.
  • Crafting classes, including quilting
  • Test prep, such as ACT, SAT
  • Exercise classes, such as walking clubs, stretching, etc.
  • Genealogy
  • Your idea!
The mission of Summer Enrichment Opportunities: To engage our communities and partners in developing meaningful and quality enrichment opportunities that foster lifelong learning, strengthen Chatfield College's relationship with the community and provide an outlet for fun.

Facility Use: Chatfield College will coordinate the schedule of the facilities available for community use. Requests are prioritized by category and coordinated to avoid interfering with Chatfield College classes.

No Pitch Guarantee: Chatfield College is excited to work with a wide variety of professionals to generate interest and share knowledge but does not promote or recommend any specific business, service, or product. While an instructor(s) may make information available about their business, service, or product, it will not be required in or beyond the class.

Instructor Fees: We are asking for your proposal on the cost of your offering. Please keep in mind that you are responsible for covering your supplies. Additionally, Chatfield College will retain 20% of the fee to offset operating and cleaning the rooms, any associated credit card fees incurred for payments, and the marketing and enrollment for the programs.

Enrollment: To maximize enrollment, we will not offer two of the same opportunities. Classes should have at least five people enrolled the Wednesday prior to the offering or it will be canceled, and fees will returned to the participant.

Proposals are due by March 18, 2022. To submit a proposal, please click here.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
