Today is the start of National Police Week, proclaimed in 1962 by President Kennedy, to honor the men and women who risk their lives every day in the line of duty. It is also a time for police officers to honor their fallen colleagues, ensure those surviving them are supported, as well as to remember their commitment to keeping our communities safe. Please join the Medina County Sheriff's Office in honoring all law enforcement, especially the brave men and women in Medina County, who selflessly protect and serve our great residents.
National Police Week is all about honor, gratitude, remembrance, servitude, and peer support.
